Save Nibong Tebal Town

In order for Nibong Town to survive and stay alive, we need business activities going on during the day. How can this be if the pre war shoplots are turned into Bird houses for birdnestting business? Imagine a town that only has the birds to stay-in?

It will be good if the design of such bird houses are compelled to rent out their ground floor shoplot to the locals for business activites. In this way, business will go as usual in the town, and people will drop in to sell and to buy. Only then will the town stays alive with people and activites.

I am sure the residents of Nibong Tebal would appreciate if someone concern with this matter gives a thought about it. TQ

Traffic Light Timing at Juru

I am talking about the traffic light at the cross road ,Jalan kebun to Jalan Tok Kangar etc.

When was the last timer being review and adjusted? Can some one in charge, or the ADUN of Juru, please get something done over this light timer.

Traffic flowing from Jalan Kebun to Jalan Tok Kangar, or to Jalan Juru needs more time. You want to know what I mean, please drive there yourself and try to come out of the traffic from Jalan Kebun to Jalan Tok Kangar or to Jalan Juru.

TQ

Bad Lighting---causes road accident

I was driving along Jalan Perindustrian Bukit Minyak towards Bukit Tambun tonight and noticed that it was too dark at the two round-about. It was bad lighting. Such is the cause of road accident. True enough I saw one motorcyclist riding into one of the round-about. Another rider happened to come by to help him up.

Can the authority please do something about it.Do it fast before someone die in an accident. In fact it is not right to blame motorcyclist or any other drivers for road accident. Has our JKR made a survey as to our road condition, gradient at a curve, water drainage from road surfaces, lighting at round-about, junctions and proper signboard at road works etc.

Corruption and carelessness may have resulted in all this negligence and approval of road construction and contractors to undertake road repair etc. Please do something about it.

May I also remind MPSP that there is a need to replace missing road name plates at Taman Perindustrian Bukit Minyak.

Tong Sampah MPSP Kena Beli Kah?

Can someone just check it out?

The residents of NT Jaya in Nibong Tebal flat had had two tong sampah before. One year ago they wrote to MPSP at Pejabat Daerah Jawi and the authority came taking away one badly rotting away tong sampah leaving one behind.

This time the second one is rotting away. The residents used a plank to block the big hole so that it can still be used. However, when asked for replacement the residents were told by one MPSP office from the Pejabat Daerah that they have to buy from MPSP.

Oh heaven! Buying MPSP tong sampah for MPSP to use????

It s true? What is our taxes for? Can the Kerajaan PKR Negeri Pulau Pinang please look into the matter. If the PKR state government cannot even resolve to such simple public matter can the rakyat depend on PKR government for any other BIG matters?

Can someone just provode me with some email address for placing this aduan, or calling up for complaints. TQ

Parking Fee Nibong Tebal

When people talk about why must MPSP introduce parking fee system to a kampong town like Nibong Tebal, the feedback is that MPSP has no money. Is that a good reason? No.
No development in Nibong Tebal. No business activity in Nibong Tebal. No entertainment in Nibong Tebal. Believing it or not, cinema business has come and go, NIbong Tebal had never got a proper cinema! NT had one in olden days called Southern Talkies, a hall running as a cinema. Closed many many years ago.
Nibong Tebal had never enjoy a proper bus station ever since the pre war days. Even the few taxis operating in the town could not find a living.
The only life NT has is the sole mini-supermart with its surrounding stalls for food. And also the Banks serving the old folks for savings, and some businessmen for business account. The banks also serve the fishermen nearby --- Sungai Udang.
I thought MPSP generate income from development not from poor local residents. If so, collect parking fee from kampong folks, estate residents lah! If that is so, PKR state government will be replaced by BN in the next generation.
It is not just a postpondment of one year, MPSP should help to bring life to NT. NT nearly lost its only bus transport facility---bus service from NT to BM. Then the bus service was restored. NT has no direct bus service to Butterworth, then Rapid bus came in. Get more life to NT and when it has become a business township, not a dead kampong township, come and collect your parking fee. But not now! Collecting from residents who park their vehicle right infront of their own houses. That is crazy!
Think about the challenge to bring life to Nibong Tebal.

Hospital Pulau Pinang

I must say that my regular visit to Hospital Pulau Pinang has impressed me that it is clean and efficient. The staff are friendly. However, during this recent raining season I visited the hospital again. I was shocked that the seats at some of the waiting section were wet. I thought I was early, may be the house keeping personnel had not reported for work. However, hours passed by and no one seems to bother about the wet seats.
Can the authority concern take a serious look at this "black spot" in the hospital. May be it had not happened before. Nevertheless, please attend to this little problem. Thanks.
